As from the 6th August 2007 docking was enforced in the UK, this was part of the Animal Welfare Act, makeing it ILLEGAL for breeders to dock the tails of Dobermann Puppies after this date. Because of this Law all Malibray Dobermanns will now have Tails !
We are Not members of the Kennel Club 'Accredited Breeder' scheme because there is currently no limit to the number of litters an Accredited Breeder can have in any one year and NO compulsory Health Screening.
I consider my standards to be much greater than those currently set by the KC.
Being a member of The Scottish Dobermann Club, Scottish Kennel Club
and The North Eastern Counties Dobermann Society, I abide by their Club Rules and Standards.
